People often ask me what I do at the gym? or what weights I use? So here a blog post about my gym routine. To start with I always run, normally for around 30 minutes, most of the time I do sprints like: 30 second sprint, 1 minute recovery, 10-12 times. Remember to do a warm up, cool down jog and stretch before and after. Skipping is my favourite, brings me back to when I was little! You can do various types of skipping; one leg, two legs normal, two legs together then wide... I normally do reps of 50 because skipping is surprisingly hardwork and normally 3 to 5 sets. Leg raises I love, because you get to sit down ;) I do 3x 15 reps with 20kg but just do what weight pushes you but not to heavy and not too easy otherwise you it will not benefit you, because its fair to say that I am not very strong! So once again its fair to say that I have pretty weak arms, but hopefully one day I won't. I do these arm exercises with 5kg dumbbells but you might want to use smaller or larger weights, it just depends on your strength. As you do this more you will become stronger so then increase the weight to push yourself. It is normal if your arms are shaking at the end... it means you have worked hard! These leg raises are pretty painful but a great exercise and I do 3x 10 reps. Everyone will differ because if you have a strong core you will want to push yourself and do more in each rep. I also then tend to do some core, like a minute of plank, sit-ups, leg raises or crunches. When I saw this sweatshirt on Asos from Miss Guided I loved it and thought it would be the perfect workout sweat! I recently got a fitbit and I love it! It lets me know so much from my daily steps to heart rate, which is really interesting. It also works as a clock and I can use it as a stopwatch. I hope you liked my work out routine. People often ask me what I do at the gym? The cool down jog and stretch before and after and various types of skipping. Nice to be hearing about the site and more skipping is surprisingly hard work sets.
