Okay so firstly I am going to apologise for the lack of posting recently, it is because I have been up to my neck in work because I have my IGCSEs in May and June, so I think it is best to let you all know that I will be going on a blogging break and I will be back in a couple of months when my exams are over. I will probably post once a month and I will continue to post on Instagram just not as often. When I am back which will be in late June, I will have lots to post about, because I have a lot of free time after exams. I hope that you will return to my blog soon, but for now here is a post on my favourite place. Recently I visited the Mae Deli, which is Deliciously Ella and her soon to be husbands (they are getting married this week) deli in Marylebone which works perfectly because it is a walk away from Charing cross and you can walk along regent street and oxford street (aka shop until you drop). My friend and I take every opportunity to go to the deli in our school holidays and we are completely obsessed with her sweet potatoes. The recipes for the deli are kept secret but whatever she does to her sweet potatos is amazing and I hope she shares it with us one day. You can choose 4 different options. I went for two green salads, of course sweet potato and this time i tried her courgette and chickpea curry... this was so tasty and I am going to try cooking some of her other curries in her book soon! Her mango flapjacks I tried when I first went and found it so tasty so when I returned I was so happy to see it for sale again! I would recommend to anyone to go and visit her deli and hopefully I will be back as soon as I can. If I lived next door to it I would be in there every day!

Okay, so I know summer is approaching but because of good old English weather, my chunky coat seems to be staying in my wardrobe much longer than we all would like. I am so in love with this coat from Whistles, which is my new favourite shop! As soon as I bought this coat, I haven't seemed to take it off! It is it so lovely and warm, which I like especially because I feel the cold. I did have to chase this coat around to buy it as it seemed to always go out of stock in my size, just when I went to buy it, but I finally got my hands on it. I will definitely be taking it through to next winter with me, because I don't think this coat will be going out of style anytime soon. But for now it will be staying in my wardrobe for the rest of winter. I have been looking at this jumper from Whistles for ages and finally I gave in and bought it, and I am not disappointed! It is so soft and it is long in the arms, which is perfect for me. I love Whistles because all their clothes are such good quality and I think they also look expensive. I'm not normally a long necklace kind of person, but when I dug this one out of my jewellery box the other day, I just thought it went so well. It is a bullet chopped in half with a stone put in it, I think it looks really unique. Unfortunately I can't remember where I got it from as I got it a while a go, but I have found one very similar, and the link is down at the bottom. Sorry for not posting this week, but I have been very busy on a tennis trip to Portugal, which was so much fun and I could wear lots of my new Nike summer wear. I will be posting on instagram (@race.with.grace) my photos. As much as I love this coat, I am really hoping it is going to warm up soon. I hope you are all having a good weekend. I will be posting again soon, as I am not off jet setting anywhere anytime soon, because I have a lot of revision to be doing. G x |
